We are located in Greenups Mill in the centre of Sowerby Bridge, near Halifax. From the bridge over the river you can see the put-in and the white watercourse.

Parking is within the mill complex is for residents only, there is a big car park at the rear of market and B&M supermarket and next to the canal. You can drop your boat at the club, but to avoid any problems with residents, please move your car as soon as you have unloaded.

Important – from 31st October 2022 the mill area is permit parking only enforced by a private parking company – visiting paddlers parking in the area may be ticketed.

Directions

From the M62 (junction 22): follow the A672 then A58 to Sowerby Bridge. Cross the river (the white water course can be seen on your right) and follow the road round to the right. The club is in the mill complex and accessed by going down the ramp by the big chimney. To park continue to the traffic lights. At the lights turn left and immediately left again into the car park. To get to To park, return to the main road, and turn right

From the M62 (junction 24): follow the A629,then A6026, then A58 to Sowerby Bridge. Come down the hill to the traffic lights. For parking turn right at the lights then immediately left into the supermarket car park. The club is in the mill complex, down the ramp by the big chimney.
