A bit thin on the ground here after the first week! There were plenty of options for running easy grade 1-2's but after the previous week that seemed a bit tame.

A massive bonus was the play wave at the campsite. We knew that the River Sava went right around the campsite, but finding a nice wave just 100 yards from where we put the tents was fantastic. Also the river seemed to have a regular release, so we quickly became tuned in to when the wave was up or down and capitalised on this and drawing an audience of other campers!

We also headed up to Bohinj - planning to do a grade 3-4 section, but the information we had wasn't clear about the location. When we arrived at Lake Bohinj it was obvious that the river running out of the lake wasn't the right place.

After quick conflab, we abandoned the river and head to a beach on the lakeside for a fun family day - but chuffin' heck the lake was cold!.
