11 happy paddlers met up in a nearly snowing Penrith and enjoyed the beautiful River Eden.

The trip led by Cliff and Brian included Victoria, Anita, Mandy, Kieth, Mark ,Piotr, Myself Duncan, my son Robert and his outdoor Leadership course mate Martin.

A mixed group of talent with the two college students showing all the acrobatics ,rodeo and rediculousness. Most drama was getting in down the steps which included spinning into a rock and rolling on concrete!

The river's greatest asset is its thorough environmental beauty. Some sections were quite bouncy and provided opportunities for practice. Generally all was traversed well though two paddlers did test their swimming skills. The get out was long but passable and all paddlers were happily exhausted with the trip.
