Where is it: Matlock in Derbyshire
What is it like: A short river trip on the River Derwent, finishing at Matlock Bath.
In terms of difficulty its straight-
Where do we meet: At the club at 8:30am to load up / organise car shares. If you plan to head straight there please contact the organiser for details / directions.
What do I need: Normal paddling equipment (wetsuit/warm clothing and waterproof top, buoyancy aid, spray deck, helmet), pack lunch and hot drink (in a flask), plus snacks, change of clothing (including warm clothes for after paddling), towel and money for car parking.

If you plan to come on a trip, you must contact the organiser in advance to agree your participation in the trip so we know who to expect (and make sure we wait for you) and on some trips numbers can be limited. Also plans may change at a late stage (due to water levels etc), so we might need to get hold of you to let you know. If you don't speak to the organiser in advance they don't have to take you on the trip!
Places will be limited depending on the number of coaches / river leaders available.
We will also need a consent form/parents permission for any under 18's that want to come on a trip. Download a consent form (pdf).
