Big Bingley Successes
Well the graduates of the start slalom class did themselves proud at Wagon Lane!
Second and promoted -
Congratulations to Adrian forth on Saturday and third on Sunday in Div 3 looks like he’s shaping up for promotion. Plus Roger hitting his best ever (?) result of 700 points followed by 600+. Then new partnership of Keith and Roger took to the C2, came second and missed promotion by a 0.7secs, also beating more established C2’ers Anita and Vicky, but only due to a disputed 50. In the C1W showdown Sarah came out ahead by just fraction of a second from Anita.
It was fantastic to have a great turn out -

Slalom Coach Training
On Sat 20th November Scott Bradley and Russ Smith will be coming to the Club to run a Foundation Slalom Coaching Module at the Club. This is an ‘add on’ for existing coaches to extend their skills and knowledge to coaching slalom. While it is for coaches, if there is space I am sure that club slalom paddlers could sit in too. Let me know if you are interested. We’ll also need some Guinea pig paddlers to be coached so again let me know if you are interested.
On a similar vain in October Scott will also be coming to run 2 evening workshops for coaches, but which may also be of interest to slalom paddlers.
Tues 19th -
Tues 26th -
Again let me know if you are interested
That’s all for now -
