Three Peaks Challenge You will be pleased to hear that the HXCC raised £649.20 for young people with Diabetes in Calderdale & Kirklees National Health Trust, and we will be doing a formal hand over of a cheque very soon. A big thanks to every one who got involved and the many who helped raise monies for a great cause. Many of you said you enjoyed the experience so watch out there may be another event being organised. The club needs money next year so we may need to do a sponsored event to help us???? Let me know of any ideas you have. What we have achieved is very impressive and through your efforts young people with diabetes will get to experience the outdoors, and trust me when I say some of these kids have never seen real sheep or cows, that makes you think how fortunate some of us are to have the HXCC to give us these opportunities.
