Clubhouse Issues

We have received a number of complaints for residents in the Mil complex where we are based about us leaving boats and equipment in their way. We need to have good relations with our neighbours to make life easier for all concerned. I know the summer sessions are at a close now, but if you could bear this in mind if you are around the club over the winter (we will be reminding people again next summer).

All members and parents can play a vital role in this by doing the following:

  • Parking - we only have two parking space at the club - however it is easier if people park away from the club and leave these spaces free so there is room to get boats in, out or to put them down while getting ready.

  • Do not put your boats and gears in the walkway directly opposite the resident’s doorways and entrances - put them in the club’s parking spaces in front of the double doors.

  • Do not lean boats or anything else up against the wall of the flat beside our changing rooms.

  • Do not leave boats in the yard between the wooden gates and the access steps

If you are unsure, please speak to any a club official.
