Summer
River Sessions - from July 2008 onwards
The
first half of our summer coaching sessions are coming to a close during the
next week or two. But, there is still plenty of chance to start paddling with the
Club or sign up for a course to improve your skills.
As ever, the Club’s coaches will be running a
series of groups for members, if you want coaching with the Club you’ll need
to join one of these groups - depending on what you want to do.
Here’s how it works:
- Each session runs through to mid-September
- Juniors must paddle in one of
these groups, or with their parent.
- If the lead coach is not available, they will
arrange for another coach to take the session or cancel and tell you when
the next session is (please remember some sessions will be cancelled if the
coaches are on holiday).
- Please remember, our coaches are all
volunteers and give up their free time to run these sessions.
- For more details about what is involved in each block speak to one of
the Club’s coaches.
We have tried to ensure our sessions cover the
widest range of paddlers needs. So here
are the details of the sessions being offered for the second half of the summer:

How to book on to coaching sessions:
If you are on a existing course that is
continuing speak to your Coach to confirm this. If you are on a one star course
that is finishing, you need to decide what you want to do next
